Born in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland. I had always painted in oils and acrylics until I discovered the advent of digital painting. I now combine my love of photography with my painting. Having discovered digital painting late in life and now retired I devote a lot of time to this exciting way of painting.

I have been practicing with this technique now for about 3 years. I use Artrage with a Wacom tablet and pen. These paintings don’t take as long to finish as traditional oil painting because I do not have to wait for paint to dry.

I still get a lot of pleasure as I can still paint in digital oil, wet or dry with a vast selection of colour, pressure and brush types.
